The Kairós Institute was born in the meeting of ideas, expectations, conflicts and dreams front up a contradictory world, with so many imbalances and at the same time, with so many possibilities...
After all, what is the role of each of us in society? Until what point our life and our desires are separated from the social environmental reality in which we are inserted? We want to be players or spectators of the world around us?
These questions are very important before the big challenge that we have ... And the response of Kairós is the action on behalf of the responsibility. It is the appreciation and experience of the possibility of ethical behavior and consequently, finally, is the joint construction of a new social and environmental point of view.

In this context, the Kairós Instituto proposes to:

*        Promote reflection on the complexity of the relations between individual, environment, culture and contemporaneity;
*        Promote the responsible consumption through critical reflection and diffusion of "intelligent information";
*        Actions to promote social leading by developing a participatory and emancipatory culture;
